Last weekend my friend Sam organized an amazing weekend in Argentière. He invited bunch of his friends, including me to a huge chalet in the heart of Argentière. Even though weather was not perfect these two days were saturated with activities. On Saturday it was really cloudy and snowy, so we decided to try skiing. After several runs about the forest line completely in the clouds we decided to sky a bit lower. Aanoud, Alex and me did one run in the forest from Lognan station without knowing where are we going. In the beginning it was really fun, but closer to the piste we realized that forest gradually becomes very steep slope with some bushes. After some time we could finally manage to find a way to the piste. After several runs we found very nice powder in the forest and finished this day with some nice runs.

On Sunday weather was much better, so Olov Issakson, Jon Griffith and me decided to climb Flame Libra - dry tooling route close to the base of the Argentiere glacier at the sector Blade Stadium. This route was climbed by
Jeff Mercier first time not so long time ago. Fortunately Jon knows where it is, so we didn't spend too much time finding the right place to start. The route was graded M6, but I found it a bit harder. Maybe due to the fact that you have to place your own protection. Anyway it was nice climbing, with nice fall by Jon ripping off first nut and hanging 2 m below the belay station. We could top up the route and ski down enjoying the nice sunset. Thanks again to Sam and Oliver who organized everything.
